Simms Chaos Trophy

The Simms Chaos Trophy was donated by the Simms Family in 2013 and is  awarded annually to the winner of the Melges 24 Class Series A Season Championship. John D. Simms Jr., LGYC commodore from 2011 to 2013 and Geneva Lake Sailing School president in 2005 and 2006, was Melges 24 Season Champion in 2019. The trophy, designed and created by Spencer Simms, is a cast aluminum obelisk, 7.5 inches tall, mounted on a walnut and ebonized walnut base that is 15.25 inches high.
