Norm Lovendahl Trophy
The Norm Lovendahl Trophy is constructed of American and exotic hardwoods and is a rendition of the 105-foot ketch Yankee. In 1990, sailors in the MC fleet donated the trophy in memory of Norm Lovendahl, whose upbeat spirit and willingness to share his knowledge inspired all sailors who knew him. The Norm Lovendahl trophy, a perpetual trophy, is awarded to the most improved MC sailor. Fleet members select the winner after the last race of the season.
