Oak Lodge Trophy

Presented in 1936 for Class A by Daniel Peterkin Jr., the Oak Lodge Trophy is a silver pitcher mounted on a wood base. Mr. Peterkin named the trophy after his family home on Geneva Lake. Its deed of gift allowed permanent possession to the skipper winning three annual races, which was achieved by Melville C. Jones in 1949 in his Quest. In 1950, Mel Jones, then Commodore, rededicated the trophy as a perpetual trophy. It is now given for the best score in the combined races on a Series A scheduled race day.
